Photo for Brown?

Some of my schools requested photos and some did not…and they often write that you can send an optional photo in small print somewhere, I nearly missed it on 1 app.

But for Brown…no personal photo (like a senior photo), correct? My mom applied like 25 years ago and they sent a photo then, but how about now?

Or was it photo optional?

Thanks!

Brown requests a photo if you’re accepted…not for the application, though (at least, as of 3 years ago)

When I applied, they asked for a photo with the application, but they no longer do. Jeez, I’m getting old :P

They haven’t asked for my picture yet, haha.

In May you’ll get a form for your (photo) ID card. You’ll need to submit a photo then.

Brown used to be famous for asking for a photo with every app, and they were the only Ivy to do so. However, with the rise of AA and PC at Brown, that potentially unduly biasing factor has been eliminated, and I fear that the stereotype of Brown having the most attractive people in the Ivies has been lost to Cornell in the process (IMHO).

Lol, is it ok if I sen a pic anyway…i put it on my resume.

I guess im somewhat good-looking? idk haha, the pic makes me look decent.

i hope that’s a plus!

^I really don’t think they care about what an applicant looks like, as long as he/she doesn’t resemble Voldemort (oh yes, you liked that Harry Potter reference. You can admit it)

They don’t have time to look at a picture and go: Oh, look! What a fine-looking guy/girl. Let’s admit him/her because (s)he’s hot.

hahahahah

^ it’d be cool with me if they did  haha.

Yeah, I don’t think admissions is shallow like that, but it couldn’t hurt to be good-looking (: I have to send a photocopy of my passport for some financial aid applications, so they’ll see a photo of me. I don’t mind though hehe I mean, I’m not the hottest girl on the planet by any means, but I’m certainly NOT Voldemort-like hahahaha
