Does any of you know any website that has photos of brown campus, people, etc. that is also accessible to non-brownies?

The official brown website doesn’t seem to have a photo gallery…:(

here's a start:
these are not of the campus per se, but most were taken on college hill (either on campus or right near the edge of campus)

this includes a few brown buildings

if you have incredible patience, you can scroll through these
http://photos.tetto.org/4037/

you can also see a couple if you do a yahoo image search of brown university

there really aren't that many pictures of brown, it turns out.
i think people should scour the internet and post what they find

here's one of the applied math building

here's some more from the brown site that look they were all taken in the 80's
http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Photos/photos2.html

WOW where did you find all these websites?
Anyways thanks a lot!:)
(now its time to get familiar with all the buildings at Brown woohoo!)

this is a great way of procrastinating for me

here are a bunch of pretty ones that an econ professor took of robinson hall
http://www.econ.brown.edu/%7Ervohra/robinson/Robinson_Pics/index.htm

Since it doesn't seem to have been mentioned yet, there are some photos of Brown buildings right on the Admission site:

The center panel in the "Visit Us" section has red dots which turn into small photos as you move your mouse cursor there.

Here, you can see some of the athletic facilities:

and here you can see some of the dorms:

All of these are reached from the main Admission page by simply trying out some obvious links.

Someone above mentioned my personal website, but if you want to see really campus-y photos (building shots, et cetera), here are more than you can shake a stick at:
http://photos.tetto.org/campus/

On my personal site, you can browse by location, so to view only the photos taken of or around campus, go here:
http://photos.tetto.org/brown/
These tend to be of little architectural details and shadows and pieces of trash and so forth -- but definitely check out the first link if you want a feel for what campus is like.

does brown have a "landmark" type place, popular as the hang out..
like low library steps at columbia.. or the lawn at uva.. that kinda thing?

the main green is where most people congregate. typically, lots of people hang out at, on, or near the faunce house steps since it is at the head of the green, is our student center, and has a patio with umbrella tables and chairs. several people are speckled on the green (or its benches), or on the steps of the buildings that enclose the green.

so yeah, the green.

What dcircle said, but I wouldn't limit it to the Main Green. Though the Faunce steps/the area in front of Faunce are definitely the most crowded, Brown is a lot more spread out than someplace like Columbia.

If I wanted to study, for instance, I'd either go to the Main Green:

As sparse as some of the pictures look (they were mostly taken in colder weather), on any reasonably warm day you'll find students spread out over all these areas.

this one's pretty as well

here's a whole bunch more

one, by chance, even has a picture of yaya in it, of america's next top model fame
