Taken this afternoon with my iPhone while walking my dog around my neighborhood. We are enjoying the brief respite from the freezing temps that are returning this weekend.

If we are going to do old travel photos here’s one, I bet no one can guess where it’s from. (Well unless they’ve been there!)

Not an old photo - I just took it - but the camera doesn’t really show the beauty the eye can see. The water colors vary in a typically Caribbean fashion. Our balcony is a great place for us to hang out while H gets some work done (since it is a working vacation for him). Beats seeing Feb out the window at home.

Oh Petra was magical. We spent the entire day there from when the doors open to when it got dark. On our feet the entire time. I really enjoyed exploring all the small caves and shrines that aren’t part of the usual tourist route. But this view is of course magical.

Yes I certainly did! Despite it being one of our very favorite places we visited in Iceland, we still can’t pronounce it! We jokingly call it F13 Canyon ; )

We did too, including taking the donkeys to the Monastery. I have a whole slew of pics and had to decide which one to put on here - then figured that first sighting through the Siq was the most magical. Someday I hope to go back to Jordan. We saw some castles, some of Amman, Petra, and a day at Wadi Rum, but there’s so much more to do - including a repeat of Petra.

The first one was one of my favorite days ever with the kids. The picture doesn’t do it Justice. We took the train to Stonehaven (Scotland) and walked almost an hour by ourselves on a coastal cliff path to the castle. Perfect day.

The second one always cracks me up. We were in the small village of Kormano (Czech Republic) and toured the fortress. When we had lunch my mom and I visited the restroom. This sign was posted. We were cracking up trying to figure out what it said. (And I don’t want to know, so don’t tell me!!!)
