I’ve had the pleasure of participating in the mass ascension twice, 2017 & 2018 - the 2018 morning also was the “special shapes rodeo” which made it even more of a treat!
We saw the Thunderbird Glow in Phoenix once. Really spectacular to see all those balloons lit pre-dawn. I wish I had a pic. Thanks for sharing all of yours @milgymfam.
Really fun pictures
Fall foliage from Kancamangus Highway, Swift River near Rocky Gorge, White Mountain National Forest.
That photo is amazing!
Thank you!
Beautiful photo, sad reason for it.
Took these photos of a rainbow yesterday over H’s boat and our house, then texted them to our kids in jest with the caption, “Where’d y’all hide the gold? Do I check the attic or the boat?”
From my “green” lad I got this response:
“Rainbow ends in a golden tree in every photo and you’re asking where the gold is?”
So clear and crisp. Beautiful fall day.
We were lucky today @kjofkw, yesterday it’s very wet and cloudy.
Maine foliage in our yard:
And a fire to take the nip out of evening cocktails:
We’re leaving on the 20th to return to AZ. DH is ready, but I’m still trying to get my fill of fall. It was always my favorite time of year. We celebrate our 41st next week, and I always want to be here for that rather than back in the desert.
Been home from Scotland for almost 2 weeks–finally started to sort through my photos. Here are a few:
Loch Lomond, the longest of the freshwater lochs, Trossachs National Park.
Dunrobin Castle-- a seemingly French chateau in the Scottish highlands.
Ross Fountain and Edinburgh Castle
The Ring of Brodgar (don’t touch the stones!!!)
What a great transformation!
I can’t get photos to upload on here anymore. It says processing/uploading, etc, but then doesn’t work. I eventually get a string of letters/numbers that begin with a, “! [image]…….” This is the case from both my iPhone and iPad.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: Never mind! It works! I just can’t see it until I post.
Wow!
We drove to Sandia Crest and got to enjoy going from fall (64 and sunny) to winter (36 and snowing) in the course of a 10 mile drive. We loved it!
