PHY2048 vs 2053?

So I've heard a lot of conflicting arguments and I'd like to know which class would be the best suit for me.

-bio major that's not sure what he wants to do. semi-interested in engineering also.
-took phy2020 and despised it.
-took mac2311 and did very well. I understood integration and differentiation completely and also understood the applied problems to physics. and overall i found the class somewhat... "fun"
-i plan on taking calc 2 because i found calc1 very "fun"

taking these facts into consideration; I believe i should take phy2048; but i'm just nervous about the difficulty of the course and whether my success (and enjoyment) of calc1 and not as successful foray into phy2020 would transfer over into 2048. Any advice?

The first question would be to decide if you want to do engineering, since 48 is the requirement. If you cant decide now then go ahead with 48 and if things change you can always do 54 for part 2.
