<p>Yes, that is possible. But if you took a survey, most people would find Physics 2 harder mainly because it is harder to visualize and the concepts are a step above mechanics.</p>
<p>I usually hear people say E&M is harder, but you could definitely have a different opinion. A lot of my MechE and CivE friends thought it was harder because it is more abstract and less applicable to them than mechanics was. On the other hand, of course, my EE friends and I enjoy physics 2 a lot more because it's more related to what we'll be studying later on, and hated mechanics. I think it comes down to which type of material you are more interested in, but in the end, both are pretty basic freshmen classes.</p>
