are they worth the .5 units?
are they p/np or letter grade..?
will you get dropped if you enroll in wrong level?

i heard you actually get tested hahaha. my friend enrolled in karate or some martial arts for fun and then midterm time came around and he’s like i don’t know what to do!!!

hmm can anyone answer my question? lol

i’m pretty sure people don’t take PE courses for the units for obvious reasons, unless they need more units to hit the minimum. most people i know are taking them because they like doing jazz, volleyball, etc.

thanks

can anyone answer my other 2 questions?

@888, I took intermediate taekwondo without ever taking a martial art before. the professor (he has his doctorate in physical therapy or something…pretty cool guy) let me in just fine. Albeit, I just had to work harder than everyone else because we were tested on previous knowledge from lower classes.

And you can take these classes for a letter grade or for p/np. Do keep in mind that you should see how crazy of a grader the teacher will be.

^
hmm… are they really that intensive = =.
im looking to play intermediate badminton.
is it based on skills rather than effort?

both skills and effort, but more for effort. I was expected to practice taekwondo outside of class, fyi…and i did practice, otherwise i would have looked very foolish during class for not knowing proper techniques while everyone else did.

here is a hint at the grading: by the end of the course, if the teacher can obviously see progression in you from when you first entered to where you are now, then you get a fat A.

Do note that attendance is usually a huge proponent to your grade. Tardiness is unacceptable. :P

female instructors hot?

what if we’re like the best and there’s no room for improvement? lol :P

^
Yeah…uh-huh…

LOLOLOL.

^
im serious lol

^
I’m still laughing. That’s cool tho!

you wouldn’t be going for intermediate then. you’ll be a badass and go for advanced ;)

i would totally do a pe class if i wasn’t injured…bleh.

hmm there’s no advanced badminton. The only negative is…that’s it’s @ 8am in the morning… ***…why’s it so early HAHA

what does it mean when it says course may be repeated for credit?
does that mean i can take… pe for .5 units every semester and boost up my gpa?

Where can I find a list of the physical education classes? Sorry if this is a dumb question, just bear with me.

88888888, I plan to take intermediate badminton too! Maybe we can practice together xD

^
