Physical Therapist vs. Pharmacist

I have a few questions
Which job is better physical therapist or a pharmacist?
Which job pays more physical therapist or a pharmacist?
Which job is easier to become physical therapist or a pharmacist?
Which job hires more physical therapist or a pharmacist?
Easiest path/way to become any of these jobs (schooling, etc) ?

The question you should be asking is which job is better for YOU! Go spend a day with a Pharmacist and another day with a Physical Therapist. Totally different experiences.

Im a PT, My husbands a Pharmacist
PT 6-7 yrs to entry, Pharm 6-7 depends on getting into program as Freshman
Programs are comparable in difficulty with Pharm chemistry heavy
Job demand similar, pay slightly higher for Pharm to start esp in retail/pharma, both level off unless going into private practice as PT perhaps more income potential
Work very different,
Pharmacy except for retail less interaction with people, PT constant, direct interaction with people
Both have varied areas to work in Pharm: retail, hospital, research, academics, IV/Chemo, administration. PT: private practice, home care, hospital, schools, rehab, sports ect
Both offer PT/FT flexibility if kids come along
We each love are chosen fields and are still very satisfied working 30 + yrs later but we are complete opposites personalty wise. So I strongly second momtotwins advice to get some shadowing experience to get a feel for these two fields. I vote for PT.
