Physical Therapy @ Northeastern

Any current or former physical therapy students at Northeastern? Prospective student wondering how the experience is there and any other insights into it. Thank you

I don’t believe there’s a PT student on CC but check out the student blogs on the admissions website - there’s a PT student listed on there - I would try asking them on their blog

As a very old almunus of the program and a current PT my recommendation is to go to the cheapest program you can find. I work with new grads with well over $100,000 in debt and that just crazy. Your school will not help you find a better job, you just need the degree. I know U Lowell has a program

I think NEU has an excellent program. My family has gone to several PTs for treatment for various issues and the best treatment was from NEU graduates. One family member even received care from an NEU PT co-op student (under the supervision of a PT). I think they only admit as a freshman (to the 6 year program?). You cannot switch majors to PT or transfer in after that.
