Physical Therapy

I'm interested in applying to University of Maryland. My ideal job is a physical therapist for a hockey team. I tried researching the difference between their Pre-Physical Therapy program, but didn't learn much. On the application, do I choose Kinesiological Sciences or Pre-Physical Therapy? I don't know much about this school, so any information you can tell me would be greatly appreciated.

I also have an SAT score of 1830 (550 reading, 620 math, and 60 writing), an ACT score of 29, lots of extra curricular activities and sports, and a 4.2 weighted, 3.8 unweighted GPA. DO you think I can get in?

Thanks!

You shouldn’t have a problem getting in.

I applied for the same major. You apply to Kinesiological Sciences. Pre-PT is an interest, not a major. I have a 1900 SAT, 31 ACT, 4.2 W GPA so similar everything. OH and Maryland only looks at the SAT out of 1600, they don’t look at the writing section.
