What major do I need to get a degree in undergrad before I persue the graduate Physical Therapy program? I'm thinking of switching off of Electrical Engineering, as I don't find myself liking it very much and I really chose it the most for the money. But anyways, what major am I supposed to choose?

Like pre-med you can major in anything as long as you fulfill the prerequisites. Some include anatonmy and physiology, some kind of bio and chem, and physics. At my school they allow you to major in anything including history, english, biochem, health care management; pretty much any major you want as long as you fullful lthe prerequisites. I'm pretty sure you have to have a bachler's to apply to a physical therapy program.

Keep in mind that the actual job of a physical therapist is much different from an electrical engineer. Most of the time you're working one-on-one with someone in an almost gym-like setting. Or you could get jobs traveling to people's houses and providing therapy to those who can't get out of the house. You could even work in "special" schools for extra needs children.

Electrical engineering has a higher ceiling, you have more potential. However physical therapy has job security and good pay, and personally I think its a less stressful job.

If you're switching because of how hard engineering is you might want to reconsider. The actual 3 year physical therapy program isn't your regular phys-ed class. Also I think in all schools you must dissect a cadaver (human body) .

Most PT students observe a PT before applying. Most PT schools require 40-50 hours of observation of a PT before admittance.
