Physician Assistant Questions...

I am not sure if this belongs in this catagory but I will give it a shot. I am a Neuroscience student who will technically graduate this fall. However, I will have to return to school next fall to complete 1 class left in my major.

My career goal is to become a Physician's Assistant but I cannot apply to PA school until the fall of 09 since my degree will still be "in progress". So now I have an unexpected gap year where all I will have is 1 class to fullfill. I have clinical experience and I know I could go that route to get more but I was thinking of perhaps staying at my school the entire year and getting my masters. Is this a good idea?

What would be a good master's program? Since I want to focus on Intensive Care Infectious Disease (like the the show house...lol)...should I master in Epidemiology? Is it even worth it? Since PA school is technically a Master's Program as well is it even advised to complete another?

Thanks for the advice guys!

I'm definitely not an expert in any of this, but I don't think it would be advised to consider a Master's Degree at all. I think more clinical experience could serve you better in your future career.
