Physics 1st yr and Bio 2nd yr ... or vice versa?

I'm originally planning on taking physics and 3 other classes my freshman year...and taking bio and organic chem my sophmore yr

But someone told me that i was gonna die if i took bio and ochem in the same year....like too much work or something? He's going to be a freshman at UCI btw....but he said i should take bio first year .... and physics and ochem 2nd year

Any suggestions?

You have to memorize a lot of information for biology and organic chemistry. Fact-based stuff. Physics is basically math (calculus) and less theory.

that is actually the path i'm currently on (took physics/math first year, will take o-chem and bio this coming year)....i'm hoping it will work out!
