Physics 7B and CS61a

Do both classes always use the same book every year? Would anyone happen to know what book Harvey or Zettl will use this coming fall?

Thanks for any replies :]

Note: Ninja Courses claims that

Dive Into Python 3 (Books for Professionals by Professionals)
* Mark Pilgrim
* ISBN-10: 1430224150 ISBN-13: 9781430224150 Edition: 1
* List Price: $44.99

is the book being used for CS61a this fall but that doesn't seem right. I thought it was always scheme that was taught?

I think Harvey is taking a break next year, so they’ll be teaching 61a with python instead of scheme.

Scheme and Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs have been used by CS 61A and its predecessor since the late 1980s.

However, the bookstore lists Dive Into Python 3 as this fall’s textbook.

Both books can be read free on the web. And both Scheme and Python 3 interpreters can be downloaded to run on your computer. So you can preview both over the summer.

Physics 7B definitely uses the same books every semester. But remember that you need the workbook and masteringphysics subscription as well.

really appreciate the replies :D!

ummm whos teaching CS61a if harvey isnt?
