Physics 7C

I'm sure there are those who didn't get into Physics 7B for the spring due to bad Telebears times. So I've passed out of Physics 7A with the AP Physics C tests, and I am pretty comfortable with mechanics. If not, I still have my textbook from my Physics C days, with problems and solutions and all. I've also gotten a 5 on the Physics E&M AP exam. Even though there are many things in 7B that are not touched upon in AP Physics C, I've looked at some Physics 7C past midterms and syllabuses, and the most of 7B I found were the Maxwell equations (which I know about, though not in the right derivative and integral forms, but I can pick up on that), and some other stuff which I've experienced before and can review on my own, if needed.

So I was wondering if it's possible for me to take Physics 7C next semester. I know that it'll be hard (even though I've learned the basics of the material covered in 7C, and have actually learned about Schrodinger's equation in Chem 4A). And I'm eager to pursue knowledge, and I don't think I would really enjoy learning mechanics again (my fallback is Physics 7A (I think), which I have enrolled in (not with Zettl, but with one of the new professors)...).

I think it should be fine. I’m taking 137A right now without ever having completed 7C, so it seems to me that the department isn’t super strict about prerequisites. And yeah, 4A is plenty sufficient as preparation for quantum.
