physics 8b professors

who's a better physics 8b professor for spring 08....
liphardt or jacobsen?

and is it a really really difficult class? harder than bio 1a?
I'm a sophomore and I'm down to Bio1a and Physics 8b but i heard Bio 1a isn't too great in the spring so i was just gunna wait till fall and take 8b next semester instead. bad idea?

Liphardt is quite easy. He gave us all the problems that were going to be on the exam early and we needed to know how to solve those ones. (The numbers were changed obviously, there were about 45/50 problems to know). I took the class just last year.

Easier is not always better though.

I don’t see how Bio1A would be easier in the Fall either, they are the same. The quality of the students is the same.

Yeah I actually heard that the Bio1a teachers are better.. not that it’s necessarily better… have you taken the class?

Yeah, I took it Spring 2006. I had Schlissel, Rine, and Firestone for Bio 1A, the professors were cool, its just the class material thats a little bit tough.

Liphart is meh. I don’t know about Jacobsen. Look them up on ratemyprofessors.com.

Physics 8B should be easier than Bio 1A. I believe it covers some of the same stuff that was covered in Chem 1A.
