Hey everyone, I plan on taking this class in the coming fall. However, it filled up quickly and doesn't have a waiting list. I am confused about how I can enroll in this class. Does anyone know what I can do to get in?

sign up on telebears.

Assuming that you have indeed tried signing up on Telebears...

Keep checking. People drop and add classes periodically throughout the registration period. Right now I'm looking at it and it says it has 1 seat available (and the section open is F 10-12). It may be lying because I think it's only updated once every 24 hours, but it doesn't hurt to try. And if you use up your 25 sign-ins to Telebears, you can always call and ask for more.

If you don't want to or can't camp and snipe a spot that way, there are a couple of general tips for securing a spot in a very full class that may or may not apply to your situation:

1) Email the professor and let them know that you really want to take this class. (This probably won't work so well with such a huge class and its place as a prerequisite for a large number of things. Your case is probably just as compelling as the 400 other undergraduates already enrolled.)

2) Email the department and ask.

3) Show up on the first day of classes. This is probably your most likely option. First day of class is when a number of people decide to drop, or simply don't show up and so ARE dropped because there is interest in someone else taking that spot.
