Physics!!! Ahh!!!

okay so i thought the physics SAT II was fairly easy and thought I did good enough for a 750+....but I ended up getting a 700....now I want to retake even though 700 isnt a bad score at all, it's below my standards and I KNOW I can do better....

so which books is the best?

I feel almost the same as you..740, though I'm not retaking. Too much work to restudy all of that stuff..

I recommend Barron's for the SAT II physics.

Quesce I see u decided not to retake ! I think it's a good decision as long as all your other scores are really high..so work on that ! GOOD LUCK !:D

i used barrons, i don't think it helped me that much....it had a lot of irrelevant information and correction "which book is the best?"

Thanks elisa :)

I decided not to retake because I'll be doing AP Physics C next year. Although C is more concentrated and B + SAT II is more widespread, I believe colleges won't really pay much attention to my SAT II score if I get a 5 in both C exams..also, 740 is average. So even if they do pay attention to it, they'll also know that if I can manage C I can definitely manage an 800 on the SAT II if I wanted to.

not to discourage you, quesce, but Ap physics C is really hard. Even though the curve is lenient, the amount of people that get 5s are very low. The class is also pretty stressful in terms of the calculus and thinking involved. Good luck!
