My roommate tells me that just plain Physics is harder than Physics with Calc I.

Is this true?

Physics is non-calc based and 4 credits and Phys w/ Calc I is 3 credits and w/ calc.

So, opinions?

Thanks

Well, calculus to me would make the physics easier. Calculus was pretty much invented for physics.

Calculus enables one to understand physics more efficiently/effectively, so I would presume it would easier.

It depends on whether you’re good at math. If so, then the calculus-based courses will be easier. If not, then you’d be better off taking the non-calculus series.

The number of credits is irrelevant.
