i loved AP Physics....definitely my favorite class..and even though the AP Physics C exam was kinda hard (or at least i thought so)..thankfully there was a MAJOR curve.

jinp6301....i share ur resentment towards AP US History and AP Literature.

If you're accepted into Yale, do you have to send your grades at the end of second semester?

yup, they need a final transcript.

Ahhhhh - I Have My Ap Physics Exam Tommorow.

good luck. mine was a beast

Mine is tomorrow too! There's no way I can memorize all the formulas!

chidimma..switch out...for your mental peace if nothing else..!

i just failed my ap physics c test today on electrostatic forces and Gauss's law :(

AP Physics B ****es the heck out of me.

AP Bio A/A 5
AP Chem A/A 4
Ap Physics B+/? like a 2

GRRRRR

I failed mine 2 weeks ago! mwauahaha. sorry, bad temper and low on sleep. I am switching out next week. hmm I'm going to miss the class though...

ok, so AP Physics exam today. There were 34 multiple choices. I only answered 15 and guess "C" on all the rest. But the free response was fairly easy. So i think I got a 55%, which would curve up to a B. That was the hardest test i've EVER taken in my life. AHHHH

Is your test AP style? Mine are, and for every wrong answer a certain number of points are deducted from the score. My physics test today had 35 multiple choice and three written. I did well on the multiple choice, but I couldn't even finish the first question on the written, so now I'm scared. But I like the class a lot; I would never switch out!

haha that's great. our exam was also AP style. wait, why am I still talking about this?

I FINALLY got my new schedule today. Basically, I got screwed over with the whole "Physics AP is not for me" deal. They put me in the other Physics teacher's class! This man cannot TEACH! I had him for environmental science freshman year.... UGH. See, the person who teaches the AP class also has an Honors class. I wanted to switch into his 6th period Honors class.. Let me explain better..

I have Calc BC AP 6th and Physics AP 5th. I wanted to switch the two since it would be easy, and I already had permission from both of the teachers. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The principal would NOT allow it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG I am in the worst mood ever. In order to have the teacher I want, I'd have to drop my Journalism class... I don't know what to do.. but my dad will go talk to her.... this is so frustrating!

should I just try to stick it out?

Well, do you like AP Physics or are you just taking it because it looks good? Because it's your second semester, so you don't have to get an A in it. But if you don't like the class, then you shouldn't have to torture yourself. Second semester is supposed to be fun!

It's the class.... ahhhhh I am going crazy over this. It's Physics. That's what it is!

It's up to you, but what's so bad about Honors Physics?

it's the teacher they assigned me...

chidimma...you really need to think about this with a calm head instead of getting all worked up...seriously if phy ap is killing you then just take honors w/ the bad teacher and be done with it..!!!...i agree with sara7246 that second sem is supposed to be fun and if getting a bad grade (even though you're going to yale now and it doesn't matter)...is sooooo frustrating to you in spite of all the hard work you're putting in...then it just isn't worth it...switch and take what they're giving you!!!

Nandini, if you say that again, I will.... well, I tell you everyday what I will do..... but thanks for the advice, Sara (you too, Nani)!
