I got into UCSB for physics and I know their program is really good. What can a person do with a degree in physics(that’s viable)? I heard it is really difficult to get a job even with a PhD. Are there any jobs with just a B.S.? What do most of the physics majors end up doing?
^^^ There is a glut of PhD’s; look it up. It’s hard to get a job even with a PhD…
I honestly wouldn’t recommend doing physics unless you are passionate about it. People rarely go into physics for the money. At JPL, all the physicists I work with got super lucky but tell me they never went into it for the money.
