Hello everyone.

I am fortunate enough to have to choose between Yale and Harvard for my undergraduate experience. I realize there are MANY threads regarding the Yale vs Harvard debate, so forgive me for contributing to it. If any of you have any input about being a physics (and possibly mathematics or engineering) major at either of these two universities, please share. Opinions about other aspects are welcome, too.

Thank you!

Congratulations on your nice dilemma! Harvard seems to have a definite edge for grad school for Physics. Undergrads should have no trouble finding plenty of challenging courses and research opportunities at either place. Yale has courted some top science students recently and you will be in good company. At this level, it’s just making the best of the opportunities you have. Good luck with your decision making!

Wow good luck Harvard is ranked higher but you can’t really go wrong in this situation.
