Physics b and c???

Hi!!

So my school only offers physics c : mechanics. I'm good at physics (I've interned at a local college with the physics prof for a year) and can do well on the exam, but was wondering if only taking physics c will put me at a disadvantage. I can take the physics b ap exam and get a good score on it, but Is that necessary?? With only physics c, will I be able to test out of basic level physics courses in college?? Or do I need to take physics b also. This is kind of a dumb question but I'm trying to plan my AP load for the rest of high school and this is a concern I have!!!
Thanks,
Aw

Physics C is calc-based while Physics B is algebra-based. Colleges vary by which one they grant AP credit for. General Physics in college is calc-based, so I would assume Physics C would be more beneficial. Furthermore, Gen Physics I is mechanics while Gen Physics II is electromagnetism. So you should be able to test out of the first semester of Physics in college and take the second semester.
