Hey fellow CCers!

I am a rising senior in high school and was wondering whether I should AP Physics B or C (my school only offers mechanics - no e and m). I plan to go into the medical field in college and beyond. Math and science are my fortes so I am not really worried about the class's rigor, but which class would be more helpful to me in the long run. I am taking BC next year so math's not a problem. What do you recommend?

Thanks in advance.

To be honest, if you’re going into the medical field, really no need to take Physics C early on. Physics C in my eyes is more if engineering field-ish with mechanics. Physics B is the one you want to take because its like General Physics. Also, its generally better to take Physics B before C because C concepts depend on B.

However, if you enjoy Calculus and know the stuff in B, then take C by all means, because in B, you only get to do simple/dry math/algebra.
