Should I take Physics B or Human Geography? I definitely want to take Physics C next year, and i know B isn't required, but is it highly recommended? Human Geo is supposedly ridiculously easy at my school.

Take physics. Colleges like core subjects.

Quick question: Does taking just the Physics C: Mechanics cost the same as registering for both mech and e&m?

if you want to waste your time take human geo, but the ap test is really hard. something we never even studied showed up as a free response question

You don't want to take Physics C. Ever.

why not? im taking that next year....

i was told that Human geo was an easy and BS AP class (lol)
that u could get a 5 by simply reading Princeton Review and then winging the test...because the scope of that class is a lot less than say AP humanities classes like US History or Euro

surge, any chance you go to Lincoln School?

No.
You have to pay separately for E&M and Mechanics.
Yeah.
Twice the money.

New policy, started just this year.
~_~

human geo is the biggest bs class in the world. i thought i would learn about world cultures and stuff. you spend 6 weeks memorizing the "themes of geography" and you get AP test questions like "delineate the role of Finnish fish canneries in creating its cultural landscape). you'll never use the material you use unless you become one of the five geographers in the world (have you ever met a geographer? have you?). worst class i ever took. DON'T GO THERE.

Go with Physics B, definitely. College admissions offices aren't stupid, and they know a b.s. AP when they see it.

Actually, it probably wouldn't hurt to take both (if you can).

sadly, I can't... my sophomore schedule is full. but i'll take it senior year.
