Physics B or wait for Physics 1 and 2

What should I do....Physics B is being offered to 10th graders next year, but should I wait for the new class and tests? Will any college give credit for the "B" test in 2017? So far I have been getting "A's" in honor classes....Am I insane to take APUSH and AP Physics "B" as a 10th grader? I will ask guidance, but I am sure they will be vague at best! Thanks

Many colleges do not give any subject credit for AP physics B (though you may get credit units that boost class standing for registration priority). Even if they do, it will be for a lower level physics course than the calculus-based one that physics and engineering majors take.

Thanks for the info…I think I will take APUSH.

No, you are not insane. I am taking AP World History (but maybe APUSH is harder?) and AP Physics B as a sophomore along with a third AP and an honors.
