Physics B Thermo Questions

well on a PV graph... this part helps if uve had chem... if the Pressure increases... but the volume is constant... that means that the Temperature has to have increased...

wait is U = 3/2KT or 3/2 RT ??

So what if Pressure increase and volume decreases? The temperature stays consant right? However, during adiabatic processes, the curve is just like the isothermal one except that its temp does change. confusing lol

U=3/2nRT or 3/2NKT, same thing.

What is this objective asking?:
Relate the heats exchanged at each thermal reservoir in a Carnot cycle to the temperatures of the reservoirs.

I'm sorry i couldn't answer your questions on time. So, how do you feel you did on the test? I thought it was pretty straightforward except for some tricky frqs.

It's okay, thanks for all of your previous help though! Too bad not much of these thermo questions where on the test. The FR was really hard for me, especially the last one where they gave you no values at all. The MC was easier for me and I think I did well on that section. I guess this is the same for most people so I'm not as worried. Hopefully I've made at least a 4. =] Good luck to you too!
