Physics B versus Physics C

Don’t self study Physics C’s if you are not a math genius. 4 on AB calc means you are not.

Physics B… fine. But can’t you pick an easier class? :(

@ BindersOpen: I’m going to be a humanities major. I have stats that are competitive at top-tier schools.

@ RAlec114: Admittedly, I’m not a ‘math genius’, but I didn’t think you had to be one in order to succeed at Physics C… and why would Physics B be too hard if I’m already studying for the SAT II Physics? I thought there was considerable overlap.

AP Physics is devilishly hard. Physics is something where the people who are good at math and the people who are natural geniuses are separated.

feels nervous Does that go for both B and C? :p

Mostly C. If you try hard you could succeed in B, it’s of course feasible. Physics C would just be like “why are you self studying the hardest AP class.” Of course if you follow that logic, then you should ask yourself “why am I self studying physics at all.”

But if its imperative that you must do so, then do Physics B. +SATII Physics is based on Physics B not C.

Okay, thanks. B it is then.
