What are some really helpful books to use in addition to or to replace an honors-level physics textbook?

I have a really bad physics teacher and a useless textbook. I'm trying to do some self-studying to (hopefully) improve my grades in that class

The Feynman Lectures 3 Volume Set

Haliday & Resnick for a calculus based course.

(Feynman lectures would probably be too hard if you don't already know a lot of physics).

I used Serway (Physics for Scientists and Engineers), which was pretty good. If you have a thorough knowledge of calc, and are daring, try Introduction to Mechanics (Kleppner)
