Hi,
I am currently in AP Physics 1 and for the most part, I find it quite easy. As such, I am really interested in taking Physics C Mechanics next year as a senior (it’s offered as a year long course so no E&M). The only problem, however, is that I will be taking AP BC with it so I will not have yet completed Calculus (minus the differntiation I did this year in pre-cal). Should I be fine since my physics background is pretty strong and my Calculus knowledge is somewhat-developed? Thanks for the feedback.
Many students take Physics C and Calculus concurrently. You should be fine.
@UCanm17 Yep you should be totally fine–at my school it was the norm to take BC and physics C concurrently. Besides, IMO e&m has more calc than mechanics and since you’re only doing mechanics you should be perfectly okay.
Good luck!
