Physics: Cal Poly Slo vs. University of California Santa Barbara

I am having a tough decision deciding between physics at both these colleges. Can someone give me some pros and cons for both?

Nobel Prizes = UCSB

On the other hand, the smallness of Cal Poly’s program means it is more intimate, with smaller classes.

They have very different settings as well. Have you visited them?

If your goal is to do research and eventually get a Phd in physics, then definitely UCSB.
