So the deal is I'm in MAC2312 and PHY2048. Calc 2 requires part 2 of the 3 part calculus textbook sequence (correct?) as well as WebAssign. Physics requires part 1 of the 2 part physics textbook sequence (correct?) and something called WileyPlus (which I assume is basically WebAssign).
Since I'm in engineering I'm going to be doing Calc 3 and Physics 2. It makes sense, then, to buy the all-in-one physics and calculus books. But those don't come with WileyPlus and WebAssign.
What I can do is either... buy the individual Calc 2 and Physics 1 books from the UF bookstore, which come with the WileyPlus and Webassign, or buy the all-in-one books and separately buy the online homework things. Which is better?

I would just buy the complete books online for cheap, then call the people that sell the webassign and the wileyplus and tell them your situation and they should be able to sell you the code that you need to go online.

I used to be a tutor and a lot of people would buy the used books and didn’t have the code that you need to go online for mathlab, so those people would just call mathlab directly and buy a code over the phone and it was cheaper than purchasing it at the bookstore or online from someone else

This is what I did… You can buy the code online from the webassign site (at least from what I’ve read, it seems you can), or from the book store

Zapadniy, you got your books already?? (You are an incoming freshman, right?)

Another thought was that I won’t want to carry around a 1200 page book for a whole year when I could buy Calc 1 book and Calc 2 book w/ Webassign and carry smaller books for half a year. Same with Physics.

I wanted to have a head start so I bought my Chem/Calc/Physics books… I am an incoming freshman. I wanted the whole book for Calc/Physics so I could go back to previous chapters and review whatever material I’d forgot. I don’t think it makes much of a difference though, to each his own
