What type of college are you looking for? If you're looking for mid-size to fairly large schools, those are all excellent schools with great reputations.

However, if you want a more personal college experience I might recommend some of the high-end liberal arts schools.

Reed and Harvey Mudd perhaps.

You've got 7 schools there that are very hard to get into, and then UT-Austin. I assume from this list that Austin would be your safety, but if this is the case then I would still opt for a couple more schools you can be more sure of your chances at. If physics and math are really your only interest, you might want to sub Columbia for a school that's a little easier to get into. Even with very good stats, all those schools except for Austin could be somewhat of a crapshoot. Columbia has an extensive core curriculum that doesn't really focus on the sciences, so if you're not the reading type you might not enjoy it.

Perhaps a couple more public schools, or at least a couple that are a little less selective. Applying to almost exclusively top-of-the-line schools could result in you only having 1 or 2 acceptances to choose from.

I hear UCSB has a nice small physics department with 3 nobel laureates (sp?). Maybe you could apply there for a safety?

Mass. Insitute of Tech.......more poopularlly know as MIT

didnt see that in ur post. sry
