I'm now a CC student, majoring in biochem who is taking 2nd semester general phy(not the engineer/phy major one). I apply for UCB,UCSD and UCLA for next fall. Because the phy class I take is not calculus-based, I need to take so-called calculus supplement to satisfy those UC's ( which I did take for the 1st semester). In this semester, I can't take the calculus supplement and I'm going transfer with missing one calculus supplement. I wonder if anyone knows or experiences how those UC's deal with those who just take algebra-base physics . Because I don't really want to retake the whole phy class(or two quaters ) just becoz of missing the stupid .5 unit class :'(.
