Physics Formula

Hi I'm currently studying for the Physics subject test in October.

I'm using the Princeton book and I find that there are many formulas, some of which I have never encountered.

Is it crucial that I remember all the formulas? And since we are not allowed calculators, I'm guessing the calculations won't be too complex. Can anybody tell me how much percent of the test is calculations?

I would memorize all the formulas. The subject physics test does not test rotational motion, so you may not need those formulas.

Thank you for the reply.
That’s quite a lot of formulas… I’ll do my best.

Better to memorize too many than too little. And the calculations are very very simple; no calculator is needed at all

I’m pretty sure they do test on rotational motion… I have 3 books for SAT II. I’m also taking the subject test in October, and all 3 of them have rotational motion.

Prep books often have more material than necessary to cover themselves. Rotational motion is not listed on the College Board list of topics. Therefore, it won’t be tested.
