Physics help PLEASE!!

How fast will the electron be travelling?

Ek = ½ MV^2
V = 2Ek/M
V = √2Ek/M
= √ 2 x 1.6x10^-19/9.1 x 10^-31
= ???
This number is too high since it implies that a larger voltage (say 10) would make the electron travel faster than light. The reason is?????

Cheers for any help

are you doing sqroot(2Ek/M) or sqroot(2)Ek/M?

If your doing the latter, you should be doing the former. If your already doing the former, then I dunno.

Im doing sqroot(2*Ek/M), cheers

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....WH47 4 1053R

I hated physics. I hated it with a passion. It was almost worst than chemistry.

Good luck...you'll need it!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I despise physics beyond anything I've hated in my life (except for my math teacher-who needs to be smitten with a fireball by the Almighty Smiter). It IS worse than chemistry. Good luck though....it's irrelevant in my life...I'm going to Business School...I don't ever need to look at another physics book again after the end of the year....GRRRR!!!
