I want to go to graduate school for aerospace engineering and I'm looking at my options for my undergraduate degree. I really enjoyed my physics class in HS and I'm wondering if having a major in physics will help me in my graduate studies.

Aerospace engineering graduate programs generally prefer students from mechanical and aerospace engineering undergraduate programs. But not all undergrad schools have engineering (especially small liberal arts colleges), and strong students in related majors definitely will be considered.

Undergraduate degrees in physics, mathematics, and computer science all make excellent preparation for graduate engineering.

Some of my students have gone from undergrad physics → PhD Aerospace programs.
