Physics Lab or Chem Lab

I’m undecided in SEAS. People deterred me away from taking EAS, and taking a specific intro course, so I’m thinking of taking Intro to BE, but not 100 percent sure yet. Im also gonna take Math 114 and ECON101 i believe. I was planning on taking both Physics and Chem, but I’m not sure which one I should couple with a lab, cause i can’t have both labs…that would put me over the 5.5 CU limit. Also I think Chem is offered ONLY with a lab…so then my opytions are Chem with lab and Physics with no lab, or just Physics with lab…if i did the ladder, then i guess i could squeeze in another 1 CU class, like my writing requirement or something. What does anyone think I should do? Opinions please?

Personally, I'd take EAS101. I certainly enjoyed it. It's a lab-based course with the lab reports being your only real homework. Very relaxed atmosphere in general. You have an undergrad TA as well as Dr. Pope (who also serves as a CD advisor) running the class. Therefore, if you have any questions, you can ask the prof or perhaps get a more "truthful/unbiased" answer from the TAs.

ok but did it help you pick which type of engineering you wanted...if so then what did you pick and why.

you can always get "truthful/unbiased" answers from your engineering Peer advisors (and I think I'll be one of them this fall).
