Physics lab or not?

So I am going to be entering U of MD in the fall for chemical engineering. I plan to take this course in the fall:
Physics 171 -Spring 2007

It has no lab component. I've only checked a few med school requirements, but none require physics labs. So is this class fine for fulfilling physics reqs?

Also, does physical chem in my 4th year count towards the inorganic chem requirement for med school?

pchem should count towards your inorganic requirement.

not all med school require physics lab, but there are enough that do for you to consider taking a physics class with a lab or taking a physics lab separately from your physics class.

Get back to summer R.V. :P

Your later physics courses do have labs and they will satisfy the requirements if needed for certain schools. Schools don't mandate that you MUST have a lab for the first course you take for a particular requirement, hence the reason why med schools will take AP credits for Bio and Chem as long as you take upper division courses in those departments.
