I'm taking a 4-unit physics class and a physics lab that comes with it. the physics lab is a separate class on its own but the lab is worth 0 units...

So are 0-unit labs usually a pass or no pass type of thing? If not, then would it affect your grade if you got a C?

At my school, most courses are 3 or 6 credits, whether they have labs or not; the labs are 0 credits to allow for different lab times without affecting credit allotment. The course mark is a combination of the lab and class grade, and in all of my lab courses, if you don’t pass the lab, you don’t pass the course. You’ll definitely want to check your syllabus to see how your course is graded.
