Hi! I'm new here so i'm sorry if i posted this thread in the wrong section.

I'm a community college student planning on transferring to a UC- preferably UCSC since i've heard it has been ranked in the top 3 for it's impact on physics.

What are my chances? i'm planning on switching my major from computer science to physics. So far i've completed 30 UC-transferable units. my GPA is 3.26 but it might go down because i have a horrible C++ teacher who has a monotonous voice.

will i be able to make it to UC Santa cruz with my gpa assuming i enroll in the tag program? If not, what gpa do you think i need to have in order to get accepted into UCSC with the tag program?

also is it true that you can TAG with only one UC?

PS i am a california resident.
