<p>Does anyone know how difficult this is relative to other science majors? I'm pretty good at math and I got a 4 on the physics B test with a crappy teacher but majoring in physics is intimidating. Also is Cal's physics program any good like their engineering program?</p>
<p>I don’t think a good engineering school can exist without excellent math and physics departments to nuture it in the first place since engineering is so math and physics heavy.</p>
<p>You’d have to search hard to find a program at Cal not in the top 10, let alone “not any good.” That speaks volumes about the creativity and resourcefulness of the university given its limited financial resources compared to its peer schools.</p>
