Physics Majors need Phys. Ed. credit?

Do Physics majors in CAS need a Physical Education credit to graduate?

I believe everyone is required to have had two credits of Phys.Ed to graduate.

Yea everyone needs

lol yes, you do need 2 PE credits to graduate, although the PE classes here are definitely not like high school PE.

Anything from trap and skeet shooting, sailing, archery, yoga, meditation, swedish massage, bowling, salsa dancing, SCUBA diving, swimming, outdoor tree climbing, tennis, caving, rock climbing, and lots more are all offered as PE courses.

Bowling is a great choice if you don’t mind paying the extra fee.

The bowling lanes are in Helen Newman Hall, right near the freshman dorms; you don’t have to waste time changing your clothes; and you might even learn to be a better bowler.

archery is fun!! im actually taking it again next semester cause it was fun the last time i took it. the teacher changed but i hope he’ll be good.

I’ve taken Latin Dance, Tango and Swing here and I would say swing was by far my favorite class to go to. Have a buddy in the class too though, it doesn’t have to be a partner. Just someone you know.
