I was looking at the Sparknotes website, and it says that for the:

Physics subject test, getting 66/75 is an 800..
Math 2 subject test, getting 43/50 is an 800..

I was wondering how accurate these numbers are, if anyone knows?
(I took a physics practice test and only got 3 wrong)

Well, I’d say the Physics is a bit off. In the CB SAT Subject Test book, the Physics curve is 59/75=800. The Math 2 is about right. In the CB book, it is 44/50=800.

59?!?! that’s ridiculously easy! o.o

damn, it’s past the time when I can edit :P.

^ sounds cocky, it wasn’t mean to be o.o… just that, getting 59/75 is not that hard at all. meh

i thought it was 63/75=800 for physics… curves shift and 59/75 might be risky, but 63/75 will almost guarantee 800

But remember, these are raw scores, not number of questions right.

You can get 63 questions right, but if you answered all the rest, you’ll get off 1/4(12) = 3.
So the raw score will only be 60.

If you get 59 right but you answered all the rest, your raw score will be 55.

So, yeah I agree, the approximate raw scores are:
Math II: 44-46 = 800
Physics: 59-63 = 800
