Physics needed? HELP!

Hey guys...

So next year I'm going to be a junior and usually, people take physics. However, I know that it is possible to take another science class (for ex, AP Bio) and not take physics. But when doing so, you can't take AP Physics senior year (not that i want to :P)

So... would it look bad to colleges if I didnt take physics? Or does it really not matter?

Thanksssss guys!

Why not take Physics junior year and AP Bio senior year?

Generally, taking all three of biology, chemistry, and physics in high school is looked favorably upon.

@Irishrabbit Because I was hoping to take the AP Bio course next year and then take the SAT II Bio along with the AP test…

@ucbalumnus so is it OK if i take Physics senior year? or is that not as good?

Why can’t you take both physics and AP Bio at the same time? Most schools allow that. You can take any other graduation requirement (language/PE/Arts) over summer or senior year (preferable).

If it can work scheduling-wise (and I would check with your school on this), then I don’t see why you couldn’t take physics a year late.
