I’m taking a gap year and then applying to Uni. I’m planning on doing engineering and I need physics. I took physics (MYP) my freshman year, I’m currently in my senior year taking the IB and it’s too late to take physics HL. I need to know if there are any online physics courses I can take that will be accepted by universities as an actual class? I’m outside the US btw and I can’t take AP (my IB exams conflict with AP exams), and if I were to take a physics course during my gap year at a local college would I need to apply as a transfer student or can I still apply normally?
Taking a college course during a gap year may or may not make you a transfer since it is school dependent. You would have to look up each target school’s policy.
UC Scout on-line courses may be an option.
