Physics Options

I’m taking AP Physics B next year, but I need to learn physics over the summer to take the SAT II Physics in time for ED apps. I’m in honors physics but it’s a horrible teacher who only covered f=ma, energy, and thermodynamics so far.

I have two options:

Take Physics 100 at the local university.
Pros:
-I’ll be living right next to the university, I have an internship there, and I’ll be completing my other online course at their library over the summer so it’ll be convenient.
-Have some exposure to how college classes work
-Doesn’t count for my high school GPA, and I won’t report it to my colleges if I get a B or below, so it’s purely a learning experience with no risk.

Cons:
-Apparently the professor is an ******* and bad at teaching (from ratemyprofessor.com)
-Class won’t prepare me enough? (Not sure)

Take AP Physics B online.
Pros:
-Forces me to study
-Can work at my own pace
-Won’t count in high school GPA
Cons:
-Doesn’t use a textbook (huge con)
-May not teach me well enough (not sure how bad it is compared to a crappy professor)
-Basically a forced self-study class.

Cost is not a factor and independent study is not an option because I’ll just procrastinate.

(Btw as for my physics background, I looked at the practice exam in the subject test book and about 65% of the questions seemed really easy)

What do you guys think, need to decide within the next couple weeks

id take it at the university. a bad teacher is better than none at all.
