Physics or Spanish

It is the time of the year where we have to choose our classes again. This is what my schedule will look like next year:
AP Calc AB
AP Calc BC
AP US History
AP Environmental Science
Honors English 3
Anatomy & Physiology Honors
Spanish 4 Honors or Physics Honors
Art 3 Honors

I’m sure which class I should take next year and which will look better. I am not passionate about Spanish and would prefer not to take it but I don’t know what colleges would think if I stopped after Spanish 3 while my interest and strength is in the sciences. Plus I don’t like the teacher who teaches Spanish 4. Help me!!

Do Physics. Follow what you love! One of my biggest regrets in HS was trying to turn myself into Mr. Well Rounded and not taking classes that were interesting to me.

What grade are you going into next year? If you’ll be a senior, I’d go with Physics for sure. If you’ll be a junior, you should weigh how much you don’t want Spanish with how important it is to you to have four years of a foreign language and potentially hold off on Physics for a year. Based on what you’ve written, though, I would lean towards Physics regardless.
