The area A2=(x at t=2)-(x at t=1)=14.8-x(t=1)=-13.2 So the position at t=1 is 28. Looking at the graph of velocity, the area A1=5.9*v1. But the area is also equal to the change in position from t=0 to t=1 which is 28-7.7=20.3 Setting 5.9v=20.3 we get v=3.44 m/s.
