I took the Physics SAT in DEC and got a score of 690. I took the test because Cornell Engineering required a science SAT, but I was wondering if I should send this score to UPenn and Northwestern engineering. The 690 seems kinda low, I think I was in the 60th percentile. Any thoughts? Would sending it help or hurt? Thanks. BTW, I sent my main SAT and SAT II scores earlier, back in Nov. or so.

I thought that all colleges receive all of your SAT I and II scores but only look at the top ones.

I could be wrong though.

I thought only the colleges that you request receive the official transcripts get it.

ttuan, you're right.

The colleges that you assign in your registeration will recieve a full report about your testing history, and other colleges will not.

Now with that said, I personally think that a 690 is not bad at all. Try for the best and apply. If you think that it's not satisfying, then there is always Jan's tests.

800 is only 92nd percentile... i know from experience ;)

690 isnt horrible though, anything below 600 is detrimental. i dont think 690 will hurt, but it obviously wont help
